‘Longmire’ Renewed for Ten Episode Season Three by A&E

has picked up a 10-episode third season of the acclaimed drama series, “Longmire” starring Robert Taylor.

Christopher Gorham is still spying… a mysterious role on Once Upon a Time. In Season 3′s midseason premiere, Gorham will guest-star as an “important character in the life of Emma Swan”.

Wilmer Valderrama to Star in Robert Rodriguez’s ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’
The El Rey Network’s From Dusk Till Dawn: The Serieshas enlisted Wilmer Valderramato its ranks. The 10-episode series, based on the feature of the same name, revolves around bank robber Seth Gecko (D.J. Cotrona) and his violent, unpredictable brother Richard "Richie" Gecko (Zane Holtz), who are wanted by the FBI and Texas Rangers Earl McGraw (Don Johnson) and Freddie Gonzalez (Jesse Garcia) after a bank heist leaves several people dead. Valderrama will play the series regular role of Carlos Madrigal, the master villain and crime lord of the series who is a former Spanish Conquistador.

Aasif Mandvi Joins HBO Pilot ‘The Brink’; Katherine LaNasa In USA’s Sean Jablonski
Aasif Mandvi has been cast in The Brink, HBO‘s comedy pilot directed by Jay Roach from a script by Roberto Benabib and Kim Benabib. Mandvi will play Rafiq Massoud, a young Pakistani employed by the U.S. embassy whose love of America runs as deep as his resentment.

Katherine LaNasa is set to co-star in USA Network’s untitled Sean Jablonski pilot. The project, from UCP, follows investment banker Neil Truman (Matt Passmore) and his wife, Grace (Stephanie Szostak), as they struggle to sift through their stagnant marriage, looking for the spark they once had. When Neil discovers that Grace has been seeing a debonaire male escort (Blair Redford) his entire world is turned upside down.

‘The Killing’s’ Michelle Forbes to Guest on Fox’s ‘Rake’
Michelle Forbes will guest star on “Rake,” Fox’s new drama from Peter Tolan and Sony Pictures TV. Forbes will appear on Episode 106 as Lucy Marks, who’s described as a very put together woman whose daughter was convicted of murder.

‘Smash’ actor to guest on ‘The Good Wife’
Jack Davenport
will play an upstanding assistant U.S. attorney in the CBS drama.

MGM Enlists ‘Fast and the Furious’ Director Rob Cohen for ‘Road House’ Remake
MGM is remaking the 1989 Patrick Swayze filmRoad House and has tapped Rob Cohen to direct it. The original told the story of a tough but soft spoken bouncer who takes a job in a small town bar only to run afoul of a corrupt business man who has a stranglehold on the townfolk. MGM is working with a script by Michael Stokes.

Couric Named Yahoo’s Global Anchor
Katie Couric
is headed to Yahoo as global anchor in early 2014, Yahoo confirmed Monday. There, she will host a newsmaker interview show that will air on Yahoo’s home page, as well as help develop Yahoo News’ coverage with a "growing team of global correspondents who will report on live world events, anchor groundbreaking interviews with major newsmakers and thought leaders, and much more," according to a statement from Yahoo.

DGA Board Approves New Contract With Producers; 2.5% Wage Increase For 1st Year, 0.5% Pension Increase, Some SVOD & AVOD Increases
As expected, the Directors Guild of America Board unanimously rubber-stamped the new three-year deal its negotiating committee finalized with the Alliance of Motion Picture and TV Producers on Friday. With the board’s approval, the agreement now goes to the DGA’s 15,000 members for ratification to succeed the current Basic Agreement and the Freelance Live and Tape TV Agreement, which expire on June 30, 2014. The deal, which took just two and a half weeks to reach, sees wage increases of 2.5% the first year and 3% for the second and third years of the agreement.
