TNT Eyes Legal Drama Based On Detroit Prosecutor Kym Worthy From Viola Davis, Debra Martin Chase & ‘Empire’ WriterTNTis developing Conviction, a legal drama inspired by the life of Kym Worthy, the chief prosecutor of Wayne County, MI, known as the toughest woman in Detroit. How To Get Away With Murder star Viola Davisis executive producing the project with Debra Martin Chase. Both have deals with ABC Studios, which originally developed the project when it was at ABC but is not actively involved in the TNT version. Empire co-executive producer Ayanna Floydis writing the script and executive producing.

‘Scrotal Recall’ Season 2 Ordered By NetflixNetflixhas commissioned an eight-episode second season of romantic comedy series Scrotal Recallfollowing a deal with BBC Worldwide North America. Clerkenwell Films will produce the new season exclusively for Netflix, which the Internet network will debut globally. Series stars Johnny Flynn, Antonia Thomas and Daniel Ings are all returning for the second go-round. The first season followed the exploits of hapless 20-something Dylan Witter (Flynn) who, after receiving a troubling diagnosis, resolves to contact everyone he’s ever slept with to tell them the news.
