‘Charmed’ Reboot in the Works at The CWThe ‘Jane the Virgin’ team, including showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman, is behind the show set in the 1970s. The project, which received a script commitment, hails from CBS Television Studios.

‘Those Who Can’t’ Renewed For Season 3 By TruTV
TruTVhas ordered a 13-episode third season of comedy series Those Who Can’t for premiere in 2017. The series stars show creators and executive producers Adam Cayton-Holland, Andrew Orvedahl, and Ben Roy – all members of the Denver-based comedy troupe The Grawlix – as trouble-making high school teachers at Smoot High.

David Dobkin is in negotiations to helm Overnight, a family adventure project from Disney. Oren Uziel wrote the script, which has previously been described as Home Alone in an FAO Schwarz-esque toy store. The plot involves a father and son who win a chance to spend a night in the world’s greatest toy store on the same night that it is targeted by thieves.


Hulu, Live Nation Partner on Virtual Reality Series ‘On Stage’
Hulu and Live Nation have partnered on virtual reality concert series “On Stage.” “On Stage” is a short-form series which seeks to take a deep dive into the creative process of an artist’s live music experience. The series will go beyond the headlines and artists’ hit songs and take the viewer on a journey of what inspires them on and off the stage.

TBS has put into development Clueless Gamer, based on Conan’s late-night sketch of the same name. "Clueless Gamer" has been a regular staple on Conan since 2012. The segment features host O’Brien — who has little to no video game experience — trying out new titles while bantering with celebrities.

Fuse has greenlighted a third season of its Gabriel Iglesias series with a new title and format and is adding companion digital components. The cable net said that Fluffy Breaks Evenwill be renamed Fluffy’s Food Adventuresfor S3 and will return in the summer.

‘Conan’ & TBS Mull Potential Format ChangesConan O’Brien’s late-night talk show on TBS will undergo a transformation. Discussions are underway how to evolve the talker, which currently airs four times a week. Plans are still in flux, but Conan would likely cut back on airtime — either going from one hour to 30 minutes a night, or to fewer shows a week — while ramping up popular features such as Conan on the road.
