HBO, BBC Team on Drama ‘Shibden Hall’ From ‘Happy Valley’ Writer
and BBC One are teaming on Shibden Hall, a new eight-part drama series created and written by BAFTA winner Sally Wainwright. The series is a Lookout Point production for the BBC and co-produced with HBO. Set in West Yorkshire in 1832, Shibden Hall is the story of landowner Anne Lister. Returning after years of exotic travel and social climbing, she determines to transform the fate of her faded ancestral home, Shibden Hall, in Halifax, England, the cradle of the Industrial Revolution.

has acquired TV rights to Karen Thompson Walker’s bestselling novel The Age Of Miracles, which will be developed as a series produced by Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps. Sinead Daly is aboard to write the script. The Age Of Miracles follows a Southern California teen as she and her family awake to discover that the rotation of the Earth has suddenly and exponentially begun to slow. As the days and nights grow longer and longer, gravity is affected, and people start falling sick to a mysterious new illness. The girl is also forced to cope with the normal disasters of everyday life when her parents’ marriage falls apart and she struggles with lost friends and first love.

‘The Passage’: Fox Vampire Drama Pilot To Film In Summer
The Passage
, Fox’s high-profile drama pilot from Liz Heldens, Matt Reeves, Scott Free and 20th Century Fox TV, will film after the end of the current pilot season. The decision was made early on based on the scope of the project, an adaptation of Justin Cronin’s fantasy book trilogy, which requires longer lead time as it involves an elaborate production and visual effects. The network and studio recently tapped top drama pilot director Marcos Siega to direct the pilot, securing a permission for him to do do the project from Warner Bros. TV where he is under an overall deal, serving as director/executive producer on new ABC series Time After Time after directing the pilot.

‘Lucifer’ Moving Production To Los Angeles In Season 3The Warner Bros. Television-produced DC series, which filmed its first two seasons in Vancouver, is relocating production to Los Angeles. Lucifer had been submitted in California Film Commission’s most recent round of TV project applications where priority is given to relocating series. The Film Commission is expected to officially unveil the new batch of TV projects approved for tax credits the week of March 20.

Netflix Renews ‘One Day at a Time’ for Second Season
has officially renewed One Day at a Time for a second season. The dramedy series, a remake of the 1975 original from legendary showrunner Norman Lear, debuted on the streaming service in January and follows the life of the newly single Penelope (Justina Machado), a Cuban-American Army vet, and her family.

(animated) ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Renewed For Season 4 By Disney XDStar Wars Rebels will return. Disney XD has ordered a fourth season of the praised animated series from Lucasfilm. Production is underway for premiere later this fall.

‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival May Be Revived Again at Netflix
chief content officer Ted Sarandos said the streaming giant is in "very preliminary" talks for another season.
