(sched) TVBTN: Masked Scheduler: CBS keeps its house in order for 2017-18Obviously “Young Sheldon” is being given every chance to succeed. Jim Parsons is such a force so I have my doubts, but whatevs. Don’t know much about the other comedies, but I’m sure they’re CBS comedies. “Wisdom of the Crowd” feels like another high-tech attempt a la “Person of Interest.” If there is one subtle change to their other new dramas, it feels like they are going for more action and a little less cerebral.

‘Last Man Standing’: 20th Century Fox TV Will Seek New Home for Tim Allen Comedy
Studio 20th Century Fox Television is looking for a new home for canceled Tim Allen comedy “Last Man Standing.” Studio presidents Jonnie Davis and Howard Kurtzman said that they were surprised by ABC’s decision to pull the plug on the show. Asked whether “Last Man Standing” would be shopped to other networks, Kurtzman said, “We’re starting to explore that. If it’s not going to go forward at ABC, of course Jonnie and I are hopeful that we can find another home for it.”
