There’s a John Wick TV Series Called The Continental in the Works
is developing a TV series spin-off of the John Wick film franchise called The Continental. John Wick director Chad Stahelski confirmed that Lionsgate TV is developing a spin-off in an interview with The Independent earlier this week. The prequel will be a "cool, Wick-ian, magical, and mysterious world" built around the Continental, a hotel chain for assassins. They’re places where assassins can get the tools they need and hide out, and no "business" is allowed to be carried out.

NEW MEDIA NEWS: Launches Original Shows From MTV, NBCU, Hearst
has inked deals with Viacom, NBCUniversal and Hearst for short original series aimed a’s Gen Z audience. The shows — the first of which are coming from MTV, E! and Seventeen — are each designed to be interactive: They include a call-to-action to users (which the company calls “musers”) to post their own personal responses using specific hashtags. The first crop of weekly shows will be 2-4 minutes per episode, and they’ll be featured at the top of the app’s “trending” section for a 24-hour period.
